We look forward to your participation in the ILASS Americas2012 Conference, May 20-23, 2012.   We are very excited about the location of our conference, the Hyatt Regency San Antonio.  The conference will provide 3 days of education, exhibits and networking.

Topics include all aspects of atomization and spray processes:

  1. Measurement instrumentation and diagnostic equipment development related to sprays for drop size, drop velocity and impact, drop concentration, patternation, film thickness, vapor concentration, etc.
  2. Computational modeling, fundamental analysis and simulation of flow and break-up phenomena inside and outside of atomizers
  3. Experimental design, operation, and performance of liquid atomizers and spray systems.
  4. Application areas:
  • Gas turbine, Diesel, gasoline, and rocket engines and all other liquid fueled combustion systems
  • Advanced energy conversion devices and process spray systems
  • Industrial sprays including reactors, spray drying, coatings, food processing, and consumer products
  • Agricultural sprays
  • Medical, therapeutic and biological sprays
  • Liquid metal sprays
  • Fire suppression, security and safety
